LATEST NEWS: Since mid-March the Church Choir hasn't been able to meet while the Church has been closed due the COVID-19 situation, however a number of the members have worked together to form a Virtual Church Choir and we have now made two videos. The first one was for Palm Sunday, and then some more members and some friends developed the confidence to have a go for Easter Sunday! The choir then grew further and did Henry Ley's The Strife is O'er and then the wonderful verse anthem O Sing Joyfully by Adrian Batten.

We have an established, good standard, robed, four-part SATB Church Choir that leads the

worship and sings an anthem at the weekly 9:30am services and occasionally at 6:30pm.

The Church Choir is also able to sing choral matins and choral evensong with various

choral settings, responses and Anglican chant.

Choir Practice is on Thursday evenings  at 7:10pm in Church.

New members are always welcome; it's a friendly group and there are no auditions!

Please click on this Church Choir Information Leaflet for further details.

All you need to do is practice your part and then video yourself singing along (as accurately as possible - particularly the timing!) and then send the file to Rob, preferably by WhatsApp, but an email link to a shared drive works ok too.

When you make your recording, ideally you will have the Guide Part playing through an earpiece or headphones so it can't be heard on your video. It will probably work best if you just have it playing in just one ear so you can use the other ear to hear yourself sing! If you don't have an earpiece of headphones just have it playing quietly for you to sing along too, it should still work!
